This is most commonly used to: 1) enforce a support order if the support is not being paid, 2) modify the amount of support that is paid if the income of a parent has changed, and 3) require a parent to pay child support if there is no existing support order. All of the following services are provided by experienced family law attorneys. You receive:

• Initial consultation.
• All the court papers you need for your support case.
• Coaching to prepare you for the child support hearing.*

* The hearing is often routine because all parents have the duty to provide support for their children and the amount of support is determined by a formula based on the income of the parents. Therefore the hearing doesn’t require the presence of a lawyer, unless a parent is hiding income or assets or has a high income.
