CHILD CUSTODY

$249 for DC, MD & VA residents

This is most commonly used when: 1) one spouse wants to create or change the terms of a custody arrangement for a child or 2) the adult caring for a child is not the parent, but needs authority to obtain schooling and medical care for the child. All of the following services are provided by experienced family law attorneys. You receive:

• Initial consultation to determine if representing yourself is the best approach for you (If you decide it isn’t, then you will only be charged $80 for the initial consultation)
• All the court papers you need for your custody case.
• Coaching to prepare you for the custody hearing.*

* The hearing to create or change a custody relationship between parents who disagree usually benefits from the presence of lawyers for both sides.
